By using Marovi (https://marovi.ai) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means acceptance.
What Marovi is
Marovi is an educational technical wiki focused on machine learning, deep learning, and AI research. Articles are written by contributors and AI assistants, often translated into multiple languages. Content includes explanations of research papers, technical articles, and a glossary of term-of-art definitions.
Marovi is provided as-is, with no warranty. The information here is for educational use; verify anything you intend to act on against primary sources.
Content license
Unless otherwise noted, all content on Marovi is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). You may freely copy, redistribute, and adapt content provided that:
- You attribute the work to Marovi and the original contributors (a link back to the source page is sufficient).
- You distribute derivative works under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
Code samples embedded in articles, where shown, are licensed under MIT unless explicitly noted otherwise.
Acceptable use
You may not use Marovi to:
- Post harassing, threatening, or unlawful content.
- Spam, phish, or distribute malware.
- Attempt to compromise the site's security (vulnerability scanning, attempted exploits, denial-of-service).
- Impersonate other users or claim affiliation that doesn't exist.
- Scrape content at a rate exceeding 1 request per second per user agent.
- Train AI models on content scraped from this site without first contacting us; while content is CC BY-SA 4.0, large-scale automated scraping is restricted.
Account suspension
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or that engage in disruptive editing (vandalism, edit warring, sustained abuse of other users). Suspensions are at our discretion and we are not obliged to provide warning, though we will when practical.
User-contributed content
By posting content to Marovi, you affirm that:
- You hold the rights to the content, OR the content is in the public domain or under a license compatible with CC BY-SA 4.0.
- You agree to license the content to Marovi and its readers under CC BY-SA 4.0.
- The content does not violate the law, the rights of any third party, or these Terms.
AI-generated content
A large fraction of Marovi's content is AI-assisted (drafted by claude, translated by claude or other models, or extracted via Pandoc-based tools). AI-assisted content is reviewed by editors but may contain errors. We make a best effort to surface terminology consistently and to ground claims in cited references, but Marovi is not a substitute for primary sources.
Intellectual property complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on Marovi infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@marovi.ai including:
- Your contact information.
- The specific page URL containing the infringing material.
- A description of the copyrighted work and your relationship to it.
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the use is not authorized.
We will review and respond within a reasonable time (typically 7 business days). Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
Limitation of liability
Marovi and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or its content. Use the site at your own risk.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the appropriate jurisdiction.
