We are committed to democratizing automatic translation and making artificial intelligence (AI) research papers and documents accessible in all languages for free, starting with Spanish. By leveraging the power of large language models, crowdsourcing technologies like MediaWiki, and existing translation systems, we are determined to create the best repository of translations for scholarly work on AI. At the end of the day, our goal is to make world-class AI literacy available to anyone who seeks it.

This project is entirely open source, and we welcome contributions from anyone interested. We will soon provide detailed instructions for how to contribute, and we plan to enable anyone with an account to suggest corrections to the translations. We look forward to collaborating with you and engaging in meaningful discussions as we work to make AI research accessible to everyone.

'Us' is just me, [https://felipefelixarias.github.io/ Felipe Felix Arias], an AI PhD dropout currently working on machine learning at Uber, and my cousin, Sebastian Estrada, a Software Engineering student at McGill University. We both grew up in La Paz, Bolivia, but I moved to Chicago in 2008, where I earned a BS and MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Sebastian recently moved to Canada to pursue his Bachelor’s degree at McGill. He is an impressive student and has been key in keeping me determined to see this project through.

Throughout my academic and professional career, I've often been the only person who speaks both English and Spanish fluently while having a strong background in AI research. I feel a deep responsibility to use these skills to make AI more accessible. The idea for this community has been on my mind for over a year now, and I’m driven to bring it to life. If this helps even a single student who hasn’t had the opportunity to learn English well enough to read AI papers, then it will all have been worth it.

Marovi AI
Technical learning that adapts to you

Marovi is a platform for learning complex technical topics through research papers, AI-generated explanations, and community-improved content. It is built to help people understand difficult material faster, more deeply, and in the language that works best for them.

Articles can be summarized by AI, translated into multiple languages, and refined by the community. The result is technical knowledge that is more personalized, more accessible across languages, and continuously improving over time.

What You'll Find

  • Technical content built for understanding - Research papers and technical articles paired with explanations that make difficult ideas clearer
  • AI-powered summaries - Clear overviews of dense material so you can grasp the main ideas quickly
  • Multilingual knowledge - Articles and summaries across languages, with AI translation and human correction to keep content aligned
  • Personalized learning - Create a profile, upload your resume, and get content tailored to your background, interests, and level of expertise

About

Built by Felipe Felix Arias, ML engineer at Uber, NSF Graduate Research Fellow at UIUC, and originally from Bolivia. I built Marovi as a multilingual living textbook for technical learning, where AI can generate articles, summaries, and translations, and people can correct, improve, and extend them. Unlike traditional platforms where knowledge evolves separately in each language, Marovi is designed so improvements can strengthen the system across languages.
